Custom Stickers in Small Batches: A Guide for Makers and Small-Run Brands
Share
Not every sticker order needs to be 5,000 units. If you're testing a new label design, prepping for a weekend market, or need 50 stickers for a product launch next week, ordering into the thousands doesn't make sense — and thankfully, it's not your only option.
What "small batch" means at PeakPrint
Three of our sticker products are built specifically for smaller runs: Circle Waterproof Stickers, Custom Die Cut Stickers, and Single Kiss-Cut Stickers. All three start at just 25 pieces, with a turnaround of 1-3 business days — a different track entirely from our roll label calculators, which are built for volume.
Round, custom-shaped, or kiss-cut — which one fits
Circle Waterproof Stickers are die-cut into a clean round shape on matte vinyl, and a solid pick when your logo or badge design is already circular — no need to pay for a custom die when a circle does the job. Custom Die Cut Stickers follow the exact outline of your artwork in either high-gloss paper or waterproof matte vinyl, which is what you want when your design isn't a simple shape. Single Kiss-Cut Stickers cut through the sticker layer only, leaving the backing liner intact, so you get extra space on the backing for instructions, a thank-you note, or branding — a nice touch for swag, trade show handouts, or party favours.
One design per order
Each of these listings covers a single design per set. If you're running more than one design, order them as separate line items rather than trying to combine them — it keeps production and finishing straightforward on our end and avoids mix-ups on yours.
When it's time to move to roll labels
Small-batch stickers are ideal for proving out an idea before you commit to a bigger print run. Once you know the design works and you're ready to order in the hundreds or thousands, our roll label materials — paper, plastic, clear, foil, fluorescent, and textured — bring the per-unit cost down considerably and give you more finish options to choose from.
